Transactional Analysis Psychotherapy and Counselling Training
Somata is a trauma-informed training school integrating somatic wisdom with the structural clarity of Transactional Analysis. We offer core psychotherapy and counselling trainings in the UK, as well as several continued professional development courses.
Integrating mind, body and theoretical rigor
At Somata, we believe that to understand ourselves and others, we need to work holistically, with the whole person. Our approach aims to bridge the gap between traditional Transactional Analysis and contemporary neurobiology. We offer a training environment that prioritises somatic resonance as a key therapeutic tool, facilitating clinicians who are both intellectually grounded and emotionally attuned.
Psychotherapy and counselling training overview

An introduction to Transactional Analysis - TA101
The TA101 is your first training step in Transactional Analysis. It is an internationally recognised introductory qualification in TA. It offers you 12 hours of TA training, with in person and online options.

Foundation Certificate in TA
An one-year immersive introduction to Transactional Analysis theory integrated with embodied psychotherapy practices. This stand-alone certificate in TA Theory is designed to give students the fundamental theoretical understanding required for deep clinical work.

Advanced Clinical Training
A three-year clinical training, leading to UKCP professional qualification accreditation as a psychotherapist. The clinical training program offers a trauma-informed, deep dive into psychological processes. We combine Transactional Anylsis theory with embodied approach to explore how trauma and relational patterns are held in the body.

"Rebecca is an incredible trainer. The way in which she makes complex ideas sounds simple is outstanding. I would highly recommend any training ran by her."
